About Istanbul Atlas University
Istanbul Atlas University was established in 2018 and quickly gained popularity to become one of Turkey’s well-known universities. It began its academic journey in the 2020–2021 academic year and has since attracted students from around the world.
The university’s identity is built around the “butterfly logo,” inspired by the Butterfly Effect Theory, which suggests that a small action—like the flap of a butterfly’s wings—can have far-reaching consequences elsewhere. This symbolizes how small steps in education can create a global impact.

The university currently offers approximately 22 undergraduate programs through 5 faculties and 1 vocational school. It also has its own Medical and Dental Hospitals, which serve the public and offer hands-on training for its students.

Faculty of Medicine Hospital

- The campus of Istanbul Atlas University is located in Vadi city with 110 thousand square meters. The campus is close to the highway and near important Turkish cities like Taksim, Levent, and Maslak.
- The campus has several laboratories and research centers on an area of 75,000 square meters, a conference hall, and a research center for the Faculty of Dentistry, with more than 400 beds capacity. It also has 23 laboratories, a vast library of 2500 square meters, a gym, and many restaurants.
- The university offers 22 specializations. Moreover, it has a vocational school and institute for graduate studies that provides seven master’s and doctoral programs.
- Atlas University integrates technology with social sciences. It is also a part of the Student Exchange Program
Student Housing at Istanbul Atlas University
There is no on-campus dormitory at Istanbul Atlas University. However, the university ensures that students have access to off-campus housing options located near the campus. These accommodations are provided through special contracts and housing standards, and they are fully equipped with all essential living and technological facilities students may need.
The university offers up to a 10% discount on total housing fees and provides low-cost transportation services from the dormitories to the university.
